Eni.com site optimization activities for traffic increase of the website and a greater presence of some topics in the search results for the Italian and English languages.
We carried out an initial analysis to identify areas for improvement from the perspective of online visibility. The most searched online keywords were analysed for each area of the website and we verified their positioning of eni.com in the results of the most important search engines.
The result of this analysis highlighted the areas where to intervene. The search engines availability of some topics has been improved, the most appropriate keywords have been inserted, the URLs, the News area and the Press Releases area have been optimized. In 9 months from the online publication of the suggested changes, were registered increases of organic traffic equal to 86% for the Italian language and 39% for the English language.
